About Tim Sisk

I’m Tim Sisk, a Methodist pastor serving congregations in Mississippi. This site is a place where I share sermons, reflections, and the things I’m thinking through as a pastor and a follower of Christ.

Most of what you’ll find here grows out of the life of the church—Scripture, prayer, grief, hope, and the ordinary work of following Jesus. Some pieces are sermons. Some are essays. Some are simply reflections that didn’t fit anywhere else.

I believe faith is formed slowly—through worship, community, Scripture, and the long habits of grace. I try to write in a way that is honest, rooted, and attentive to the lives people are actually living.

I’ve served in pastoral ministry for more than three decades. I’m married to Lorie, and we have three children. Much of my life is spent in the ordinary rhythms of church, family, and life in small-town Mississippi.

You’re welcome to read, to reflect, and to reach out if something here is helpful.

A portrait of a man and woman standing outside in front of a white building with a gabled roof. The man is wearing a blue suit, white shirt, and a plaid tie, with a white flower boutonniere. The woman is wearing a light blue floral dress with pink and red flowers and has curly brown hair. Both are smiling.
